Circle of Friends features an introduction to someone fascinated by the desert, and a sampling of his or her work: graphic art, poetry, prose, or photography. In some Arabic speaking countries, you may hear a common greeting: Ahlan wa sahlan, which translates, “These are your people and this is your land.” May our Circle of Friends, these people, this land and this spirit, include you. Ahlan wa sahlan.
